Allen Jones prefaced his creation of the marriage suite as follows: "Any continuity in this series comes from the attitude in which it was created and the natural progression of one thought leading to another. These images tell no literary tale; thus they remain individually untitled. They are attempts at marriage. Nietsche: Never yet found I woman by whom I would have children, save by this woman that I love, For I love thee O Eternity." | |
