four "seagull" chairs
arne jacobsen for fritz hansen
oak and chrome
A set of four rare early "Seagull" or 3108 chairs by Arne Jacobsen. Manufactured in 1972 by Fritz Hansen, with rare and desirable oak veneer, this fantastic dining set is a wonderfully graceful example of Scandinavian design.
A suggestion of distress to the veneer is apparent at the base of one chair. There is slightly more "give" with the back of this chair than the others, though it is still firm. The other three chairs are structurally perfect.
