An elegant 1960s three-seater "Ilona" sofa by Swedish designer Arne Norell.
Comprised of jacaranda-stained beech and black leather with brass buckles, the jacaranda stain has a deep rich treacle colour, complementing the leather and brass. |

This sofa is in excellent vintage condition. Structurally there are no defects whatsoever. The leather is unmarked, the straps, buckles and keepers all in perfect working condition. |

The deep cushions are yielding but supportive, making this sofa extremely comfortable. |

There are a couple of minor marks to the wood in keeping with age, but nothing to detract from the stunning impression this sofa makes. The Norell Mobel maker label is affixed to the webbing. |
