Two striking 1970s "Ilona" chairs by Swedish designer Arne Norell in tan and brown leather respectively.
Comprised of jacaranda-stained beech and leather with brass buckles, the jacaranda stain has a deep rich treacle colour, complementing the leather and brass. |

The deep cushions are yielding but supportive, making them extremely comfortable. |

These chairs are in excellent vintage condition. Structurally there are no defects whatsoever. The leather is unmarked, the straps, buckles and keepers all in perfect working condition. |

There are a couple of minor marks to the wood in keeping with age, but nothing to detract from the stunning impression these chairs make. The Norell Mobel maker label is affixed to the webbing. |
