An iconic 1950s "Double Helix" sideboard by David Booth for Gordon Russell.

It features rosewood doors, mahogany frame, brass handles and teak interior with cutlery drawer.

This design was featured at the 1951 Festival of Britain along with emergent modernist designs by Robin Day and Ernest Race.

In restored condition, this sideboard shows only minor signs of age. There are one or two minor scratches to the surface, only visible on close inspection.

It bears the Gordon Russell metal plaque to the reverse.
