A pair of original Danish safari chairs by Kaare Klint for Rud. Rasmussen.
First produced in 1933, these examples were made in the early 1950s from strikingly grained ash wood.
In excellent condition, they are also very comfortable.

With black leather seats, backs and cushions, stitched leather straps and brass detail they are sturdy and elegant examples.
They are stamped "Denmark" to the back struts. One cushion bears the remnants of the Rud. Rasmussen label. |

These chairs are in very good condition for their age. Structurally there are no defects whatsoever; they are robust and very stable, the straps strong. |

They can be completely dissembled for ease of transport. The international delivery cost of these chairs is therefore very low. |
|
There is minor patina to the leather, commensurate with their vintage. |
