The original Danish safari chair by Kaare Klint for Rud. Rasmussen.
First produced in 1933, this example was made in the 1950s from strikingly grained ash wood.

With black leather seat, backrest and cushion, tan leather straps and brass detail it is a sturdy and elegant example.
It is stamped "Denmark" to the back struts. |

There is minor patina to the leather, commensurate with vintage. |
