A 1950s telescopic Grasshopper lamp in brass and steel by Swedish maker Bergboms.

The conical shade and tripod legs are a deep burgundy colour. It has been rewired with matching braided cord.

The shade's perforations emit patterned pinpricks of light when the lamp is on.

With some patina to the brass and minor ageing to the shade, this lamp is in good vintage condition.

The lamp is marked with the Swedish manufacturer mark to the reverse.
