A 1960s brushed steel and glass chandelier with uplighting and downlighting by Gaetano Sciolari.

Gaetano Sciolari was one of Italy's most prominent mid-century designers.

This chandelier is in very good condition, the thick glass diffusing the light beautifully.

There are one or two minor fleabites to the glass, the structure and wiring all perfect.

The drop of the chandelier can be lengthened with an additional stem of original design. It is therefore adaptable to high or low ceilings.
