A large and very rare 1960s Italian space-age ceiling fixture by Stilnovo.

Beautifully proportioned, with circular opal glass inner shade, black steel outer ring, brass stem and three-rod black steel stem adornment, the components create a wonderful modernist form.

With a diameter of 56cm and a drop of 95cm, this large light illuminates a wide area. The thick glass casts a warm, diffused light. The stem could easily be shortened to adapt to lower ceilings.

It is in excellent, rewired condition with minor wear and dulling to the brass commensurate with age.
