A fabulous 1960s vintage "Verona" ceiling light by Svend Middelboe for Nordisk solar. At 50cm in width and 40cm in height it is an extremely large version of this well known and sought after design. Capable of using bulbs of up to 300W it emits a nuanced light, reflected from the seven tiers to distribute the light in a way which illuminates but does not glare. | |

In brass finish the seven tiers create a fantastically beautiful shape. The tiers are well formed with no dents. This lamp has a long cord for high ceilings or low positioning. The original Nordisk Solar label is affixed to the inside. | |

There are some minor scratches to the surface of the top tier, not visible unless hung extremely low. | |
